The annual ranking, jointly published by CNBC and global research firm Statista, evaluates fintech companies across payments, digital banking and wealth technology. Its inclusion of Lakala reflects international recognition of the company’s payment technology capabilities and global expansion progress.
As one of China’s leading licensed third-party payment providers, Lakala continues to integrate payment capabilities with digital technologies while advancing its “Payment+” strategy, which integrates payment infrastructure with merchant SaaS and value-added services. Using payments as the gateway to merchant services, the company provides end-to-end digital solutions covering payment acceptance, merchant operations and value-added services. By the end of 2025, Lakala had served more than 4,700 medium and large enterprise customers across 65 industry segments.
Lakala is also accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence into merchant services.
